Who Is Spencer Neville, Lili Reinhart’s Rumored BF?

On April 16, paparazzi snapped a photo of Lili Reinhart cozying up next to her new rumored boyfriend Spencer Neville at Coachella 2022. The two were spotted walking together from the Neon Carnival, with Neville’s arm protectively wrapped around Reinhart’s shoulder as he guided her through the buzzing crowd.

Fans exploded over the photo online, especially since this is Reinhart’s first alleged beau since her serious relationship with co-star Cole Sprouse from Riverdale. The ex-couple, who also played love interests on Riverdale with the ship name “Bughead,” split in 2019 after two years of dating. In March, Cole reflected on the pair’s romantic relationship, telling GQ that their relationship was “as real as it gets.”

While it seems that Reinhart likes to keep her romantic relationships private, as she did with much of her relationship with Cole, fans can’t help but dig more into Neville and Reinhart’s budding relationship. Who is Neville, how did the two meet, and are they actually an item?

Who is Spencer Neville?

Neville is an up-and-coming actor and producer who has had guest roles in hit television shows like Good Trouble, Ozark, and American Horror Story. The 31-year-old actor also played Derrick in the show Days of Our Lives from 2014 to 2016 and Four D Max in Parenthood in 2014.

Stepping away from TV acting, Neville is also set to star in Devotion, an upcoming American action war drama film about the Korean War, alongside Daren Kagasoff, Joe Jonas, Nick Hargrove, Jonathan Majors, Glen Powell, and Serinda Swan. Neville announced his role in the film last March, posting on Instagram with the caption, “Somebody break out the smelling salts. 🛫.” Like Jonas, Neville is playing a member of the 32 squadron (he even posted this cute picture of the two in uniform and mysteriously looking off into the distance). Filming has been completed and the movie is expected to release on Oct. 14, but the trailer is yet to be released.

Prior to his role in Devotion, Neville also starred in The Obituary of Tunde Johnson, a drama film about a wealthy Nigerian teenager, Tunde Johnson (Steven Silver), who is killed by police. However, in a Groundhog Day fashion, the teen unexpectedly awakens, finding himself stuck in a never-ending time loop where he is forced to relive some of his most painful moments. Neville plays Tunde’s boyfriend, Soren O’Connor. The film is available to watch on Hulu.

So, are Lili and Spencer together?

While Reinhart and Neville did look quite cozy at Coachella, the two have neither confirmed nor denied their relationship. A source close to Reinhart told E! News that the pair are “casually seeing each other.”

The source continued to share with E! News, “It’s very new but she’s really into him. They met through the industry and were introduced together by a few friends. Lili and Spencer spent the entire weekend together at Coachella and had a lot of fun.”

While Reinhart tends to keep her romantic life private, this is the first relationship she has made public since her breakup with Cole several years ago. “Lili has been spending a lot of time focusing on herself and Spencer has been the first person since her breakup that she’s been really into,” the source continued. “Everyone around her says she seems very happy right now and her friends think Spencer is great.”

Neville and Reinhart posted separate photos by themselves at Coachella, both looking happy and sun-kissed. Neville captioned his post, “⚡️ what a time 🕺🏻.” Fans swarmed in the comments about Reinhart, with one user writing, “I know you have pics with Lili❤️ Share us❤️.” Another user teasingly commented, “spencer you know these are not the pics we want.” Reinhart also posted on Instagram at the music festival with the caption, “Dis a happy bean.” (So my question is, did Neville take the photo?)

Although the two most certainly make a cute couple, it seems to be a bit too soon to confirm their relationship — but maybe we’ll see the pair also snuggling up at Stagecoach 2022.
