After tying the knot in France for their second wedding, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are obviously living their best lives. Post nuptials, the newlyweds flew off to the Maldives, where they stayed in a hotel that can only be described as paradise. The celebrity couple shared some photos on Instagram Sunday from their honeymoon and we definitely have a case of FOMO.
The happy couple stayed at the Soneva Fushi beachfront villas on Kunfunadhoo Island in the Maldives, and the resort is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. According to E! News, these stunning villas cost between $1,400 to $28,000 per night, so we’ll definitely live vicariously through Turner and Jonas.
The Game of Thrones actress took to Instagram to post a trio of photos, all featuring her new hubby, Buzzfeed reports. The images show the Jonas Brothers singer enjoying a cocktail while lounging in a floating hammock, happily cycling through lush greenery and eating sushi while playing chess. With all of these picturesque views, the whole thing looks seriously dreamy.
Turner obviously thought so, too, captioning the post, “Paradise, such a magical place #DiscoverSoneva” along with a few emojis.
Jonas also shared his own series of photos and videos from the trip, including a few photos of his new wife, Cosmopolitan reports.
According to Hello Giggles, the singer shared a video of himself exiting the resort’s Out of the Blue restaurant and then sliding down a water slide from the restaurant into the ocean. It’s literally the coolest thing we have ever seen, and we wish we could do it, too. Jonas also posted two stunning shots of Turner — one of her looking relaxed in the same floating hammock and another of her looking out on a white beach.
And if things couldn’t be any cuter between these two lovebirds, Jonas captioned his post, “I found happiness,” referencing the latest Jonas Brothers documentary Chasing Happiness.
Honestly, we might be just a little envious, but we are so happy for Sophie and Joe. They definitely deserved this romantic and relaxing honeymoon.
