Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas Pay Tribute to Their Late Dog, Waldo, With Special Tattoos

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are honoring their late pup, Waldo Picasso.

The newlyweds shared photos of their new matching tattoos of their Alaskan Klee Kai — who was tragically killed by a car in New York City last week — on their Instagram accounts on Monday, E! News reports.

“I miss you, Waldo. Rest in peace my little baby,” Turner wrote in an Instagram Story, along with a photo of the tattoo.

“R.I.P. my little angel,” Jonas wrote, posting a photo of his tattoo on social media.

In the comments of Jonas’ post, brother and bandmate Nick Jonas left a praying hands emoji, while sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra commented with a heart.

The Game of Thrones actress and singer both got their tribute ink — a portrait of little Waldo — on their arms, PEOPLE reports. The newlyweds special tattoos were done by New York-based tattoo artist Dragon, who also posted a selfie with Jonas and Turner, writing, “Thank you so much guys. See you later!”

The celebrity couple suffered the tragic loss of Waldo on Wednesday when the pup was struck by a car while being taken for a walk by their dog walker on the lower east side of Manhattan.

Waldo was reportedly on a leash, but reportedly broke free after becoming spooked by a pedestrian and ran out into the street, according to TMZ

Turner and Jonas were reportedly so upset by their loss that it took them two days to report the incident, which they did on Friday with the New York City Police Department. The couple also reportedly sought help from a therapist to cope with their loss of their beloved dog.

The couple welcomed Waldo — who is the brother of their other Alaskan Klee Kai, Porky Basquiat —  in April 2018.
