Forty and a fiancé!
The Modern Family star has more to celebrate than just her big birthday! Us Weekly reports that Sofia Vergara is engaged to her boyfriend, Nick Loeb.
Loeb reportedly proposed to Vergara while celebrating her birthday in Mexico. On Monday, her close friend, Fernado Fiore, tweeted a picture of the bride-to-be with her sparkling, new ring.
The couple first met in early 2010 at a Golden Globes party. The on-again, off-again duo split in May after constantly fighting, but reconciled in just a short couple of weeks.
This will be Vergara’s second marriage. In 1991, at 18 years old, she married Joe Gonzalez, with whom she has 20-year-old son, Manolo. However, the pair called it quits and divorced in 1993.
However, the exciting engagement news has been met with apprehension by some.
“She’s the nicest, sweetest, kindest person on the Earth, but she has a thing for bad boys,” a source told Wonderwall. “And she found one with him.”
