Have you ever dreamt of having a closet bursting full of shoes à la Carrie Bradshaw? Sign up for ShoeDazzle and that enviable shoe selection could be yours. ShoeDazzle is a monthly style service. Membership includes one fabulous pair of shoes, a handbag, or a jewelry set specifically chosen for you by ShoeDazzle’s team of stylists each month. At the start of each month, members receive a new selection of items to choose from. What could be better than a fresh pair of shoes on your doorstep every month? I’ve been loyal to my black riding boots that I’ve been wearing all winter, but I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try out ShoeDazzle for myself and rock a new pair of shoes.
After signing up, I took a short quiz to determine my style. Through a series of questions like, “Which style would you most like to rock?” with a pictures of fierce lace-up sandals, sleek black and taupe ankle boots, and colorful satin pumps, ShoeDazzle predicted that my style is “refined, cultured, and classic”, which sounded right up my alley. ShoeDazzle’s stylists took twenty-four hours to put together my showroom. First, they showed me my top five shoes of the month; they also gave me the option of seeing the shoes that seemed like a close – but not an exact – match to my style, which I liked. My showroom was mostly filled with jewel-tone, ladylike pumps. Although I liked my selection, I realized that I already owned two pairs of pumps and wanted to try something new. ShoeDazzle offered me the option to request an alternate selection. I selected what type of shoe I wanted to see in my showroom (filtering by heel height, color, and occasion). Twenty-four hours later, the team of stylists had given me an entirely new showroom full of edgy, zippered ankle boots and boho sandals.
I ordered the Jetta sandals, a caramel brown pair of open-toed booties with diamond cut-outs. My shoes arrived just a few days later, nestled in pink tissue paper and a bright pink box. I’m usually wary of ordering shoes online because I can’t try them on before purchasing them, but these fit perfectly! They’re comfortable, cute, and easy to walk in, despite the four inch heel. I can’t wait to rock these with my favorite summer dresses during my trip to Florida next month!
The bottom line: Sign up for a ShoeDazzle membership! The stylists’ recommendations are spot-on and the merchandise is super cute. Each pair of shoes is $39.95, but the shoes would likely retail for double that price in stores. To sweeten the deal, ShoeDazzle offers free shipping and free return shipping. Happy shopping!
