Imagine walking in public, minding your own business, and a swarm of people gather around you asking for your photo. Weird, right? But that’s the case for some of these everyday people who just so happen to be doppelgängers to some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, and are often mistaken for their famous lookalike.
Here are a nine people who may or may not be long lost twins of celebrities like Selena Gomez and more:
1. Selena Gomez
Can’t get enough of Selena Gomez? Well check out Selena Gomez’s-lookalike, Sofia Solares, whose Instagram boasts selfies and photos of her truly looking like the “Back to You” singer. The doppelgänger is even a fan of Gomez, confessing in an interview with E! News that if the singer were to respond to the frenzy, she would “cry with happiness.”
2. Lady Gaga
Ra Ra-ah-ah-ah roma roma ma gosh, talk about a Lady Gaga lookalike! Instagrammer @amethystbby looks so much like the “Poker Face” singer, I had to do a double take.
3. Ariana Grande
Right now, I’m in a state of mind, I wanna be in like all the time… that there would be a world in which more than one Ariana Grande exists. That may be the case, as Jacky Vasquez frequents her Instagram posts with selfies looking exactly like the “Dangerous Woman” singer. The fact that Vasquez even has similar dimples is just beyond my comprehension.
4. Angelina Jolie
Beyond being gorgeous, Chelsea Marr’s Instagram posts are always flooded with comments about how she shares a striking resemblance to Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie.
5. Miley Cyrus
Funnily enough, Miley Cyrus twin, Mardee Raquel, looks so much like the “Wrecking Ball” singer that she’s even won first place in multiple Miley lookalike competitions. Even Billy Ray Cyrus came down from his seat just to meet Mardee during Miley’s LA show at her 2014 Bangerz tour. Talk about perks of being a doppelgänger!
6. Kim Kardashian
There are a lot of Kim K lookalikes, but no one looks more like the reality star than beauty guru Sonia Ali. It’s only fitting that the Kim doppelgänger manage an Instagram dedicated to makeup looks with sister Fyza, who looks like Kylie Jenner (wow!). Even their Instagram photos look like something the reality star sisters would post.
7. Gigi Hadid
I’m not surprised Gigi Hadid’s doppelgänger would also be a model. In an interview with Refinery29, Gigi-lookalike Iza IJzerman commented that the first time someone mentioned their resemblance was on Instagram. And when she signed with makeup company MiLK, they posted a picture with the caption, “The new curvy Gigi Hadid,” which confimed it may be true for her.
8. Taylor Swift
If I didn’t know any better, I would have added cosplaying to T-Swift’s list of hobbies. Cosplayer April Gloria is so similar to the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer that they even share a strong love for cats. If Taylor ever decides to make a movie about her life, we know just the girl to play her.
9. Emma Watson
No, that isn’t actually Emma Watson during the filming of Harry Potter, it’s her lookalike Megan Flockhart. The Glasgow cosplayer took advantage of the opportunity of looking like the Brown University graduate and has even dressed up as many of Emma’s characters, including Hermione Granger and Disney Princess Belle.
