Selena Gomez fans were shook when they found out that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are reportedly back together. But one Gomez fan isn’t a Jelena supporter: Mandy Teefey, Selena’s mom. Her lack of support may have resulted in the two unfollowing each other on Instagram.
Selena and Justin are back together and, apparently, have been seeing each other everyday. It’s been reported that Teefey has been against Bieber and Gomez dating for some time, and that the situation has caused her so much stress that she checked herself into a hospital. Justin was also not invited to the Gomez family’s holiday celebration, a source told People.
“Selena’s family is still not happy about her seeing Justin. Selena doesn’t bring Justin to any family events. Selena is spending Christmas with her family. As of now, Justin is not invited.”
The mother and daughter are very close and are both co-producers of the Netflix show 13 Reasons Why, which has gotten renewed for a second season.
Mandy still follows The Weeknd, Selena’s former beau. Maybe Mandy is still holding out hope that Justin and Selena won’t last. She wouldn’t be the only Selena fan:
