It’s not very often that we exclaim “poor Ryan Seacrest!” but that’s exactly what was running through all of our heads as we watched his Ryan interact with Sacha Baron Cohen on the red carpet at the 2012 Oscars this past Sunday. Mr. Cohen (does he even deserve to be called that?) was dressed as “The Dictator” from his most recent film. His suit was crafted by the wonderful John Galliano but that was hardly the most striking thing about his ensamble. In his hands, Cohen carried an urn with the image of the late North Korean leader Kim Jong Il emblazoned across the front. After explaining that Kim Jong Il’s “ashes” were inside the urn, Cohen proceeded to dump them all over Ryan’s perfectly tailored designer tux. Ouch. I was really impressed how Ryan kept his cool during the entire experience. Check out the video below and let me know if you agree.
