In the world of celebrity gossip, rumors have once again taken center stage, and the question everyone wants to know is: Are Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan dating? The 24-year-old Nonsense singer and the newest 31-year-old heartthrob sensation have been sparking rumors for a while now. Despite only two public outings captured by the paparazzi and other onlookers, the speculation of a relationship between the two doesn’t have too much to go off of.
Before this, Carpenter was rumored to be dating Shawn Mendes after they were seen around Los Angeles. However, Mendes later confirmed that they were not dating. As for Barry, he split from his ex in July 2023 but they still keep in contact due to the child they share. Although Sabrina and Barry would make a super cute couple, it’s not all that clear if they are, in fact, dating. Her Campus reached out to Carpenter and Keoghan’s teams for comment but did not hear back by the time of publication.
While a relationship between Carpenter and Keoghan has not been confirmed, here’s what we know.
The pair were first spotted together in December 2023, when they were seen by the Daily Mail leaving a romantic dinner together. The Saltburn star and the Feather singer were shown walking towards a car together and leaving the restaurant.
Since then, fans have been able to chalk up this spotting as a friendly encounter since the two were not spotted since – until now.
Sabrina and Barry refueled the dating rumors when they were seen together on Jan. 14. In photos shared by Deuxmoi, the pair went to Luna Luna, an interactive museum in Los Angeles. In the photos, Carpenter and Keoghan are standing together without touching, so it is hard to say how much of a “date” this hangout really was.
On Jan. 15, a source told People this outing “definitely seemed like a date.” The source also mentioned that Sabrina and Barry were “cute together and shared a little kiss.” With this information, all signs are pointing to a relationship between the pair.
Prior to this hangout, there was speculation, by the Sun, that the two would hard launch their relationship on the Golden Globes red carpet. Fans were severely disappointed to find Barry sporting his red suit alone when the award show came around. This false rumor just confirmed the mixed messages that the pair is giving off.
Unfortunately, until we hear confirmation from Carpenter and Keoghan, we’ll have to continue fangirling over the handful of blurry pics from their two dates.
