President Trump’s refusal to release his tax returns has been a point of contention since the presidential election – but it turns out that we might be getting some answers tonight.
MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow said on Tuesday night that she has obtained Trump’s tax returns – and plans to release them at 9 p.m. on her show Tuesday evening.

In a later tweet, the anchor clarified that the specific documents obtained by MSNBC were from 2005 – the same year, according to the New York Post, that Trump founded the controversial, now-defunct Trump University.

Apparently, Daily Beast writer and investigative journalist David Cay Johnson is behind the findings, and he announced that he’d be appearing on Maddow’s show to “break a big story about Trump and his taxes.”
