I’m Swooning Over Offset’s Comments About Cardi B On ‘Call Her Daddy’

“Clout” rapper, Offset, guest starred on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast on Oct. 18, and his sweet comments about Cardi B will have you swooning. During the podcast, Offset opened up about how he first connected with Cardi B. “I had seen her online, and I just loved the way… how raw she was and how confident she was,” he told Cooper. “She didn’t give a f*ck what nobody thought. And it’s just like damn, that’s fire. Funny, great personality, from what I could see, you know I’m saying? Like that’s a funny girl, she’s a cool girl, and then I shot my shot and I swished it.”

He also shared what he loves most about the “WAP” rapper.

It’s [also] her grind and her focus,” he said during the podcast. “You can’t tell her nothing and it’s the same way with me. There’s nothing you can tell me I can’t do at all. I don’t care what you think. It’s that determination.”

Along with talking about falling in love with Cardi B, Offset also addressed his infidelity in their marriage.

Not long after the couple started dating, Offset proposed to Cardi B, and of course, she said yes! But things took a turn in January 2017 when Offset was caught on video laying with multiple women at different times. The “Bongos” rapper allegedly attacked one of the women in a NYC nightclub and later plead guilty to third-degree assault and second-degree reckless endangerment.

As outspoken as she is, Cardi addressed Offset’s infidelity with Cosmopolitan in March 2018.“I know I can get any man I want — any basketball player, football player,” she said. But I want to work out my sh*t with my man, and I don’t gotta explain why.”

Despite their on-and-off relationship, Cardi and Offset seem to be doing just fine right now. During the Call Her Daddy podcast, Offset called Cardi as the great wife and mother. “Luckily I have a very loyal wife and I don’t want to lose her for nothing. I love her to death,” he said.

Offset also noted that he’s committed to re-establishing trust within his relationship with Cardi B by “respecting her position” and not being selfish.

Offset went on to reveal that he isn’t letting the opinions of fan’s get in the way of his relationship. “I feel like people dive into negativity,” he explained to Cooper. “Also, I feel like there’s a hate train of people that don’t like my wife, right, and she does everything else to the T, so that’s the only thing you can attack.”
