Stream ‘America United,’ an Official Inauguration Welcome Event Celebrating the Changemakers of America, Right Here on Her Campus

It’s here! The week President-elect Joe Biden finally becomes President Joe Biden. In a year unlike any other in our living memories, the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) is working on ways to allow Americans to come together to celebrate our newest collective journey – one that doesn’t involve a hoard of maskless individuals crashing the party. In celebration of the American people’s resilience, heroism and unified commitment to coming together, the PIC has created an impressive roster of hopeful events for all to watch from home, allowing more of us than ever before to participate in Inaugural Week events.

To kick off the celebrations, America United: An Inauguration Welcome Event Celebrating America’s Changemakers streams this evening, Saturday January 16, at 7pm EST. The program, designed to reflect on and honor our history and highlight the diversity of America, is set to feature performances and appearances from a number of celebrities and popular leaders, including Whoopi Goldberg, Darren Criss, Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Representative Grace Meng and more.

Check back in on Monday, January 18 for the next event, United We Serve: A Celebration of the National MLK Day of Service, and be sure to stay tuned for more to come!
