National Breast Cancer Awareness Month: 10 Products We Love That Support Breast Cancer Research

October is the month of leaves changing colors, Halloween and the color pink.

Everywhere you look this month, you’ll see evidence of the many charities that support breast cancer patients, treatment and research as the color pink takes over everything from lip glosses to home appliances.

We know that as a collegiette, you’re naturally strapped for cash. However, this month you can buy almost anything you’d normally need with a breast cancer ribbon on it or in the product’s pink version. Help someone and get a pink yoga mat or nail polish? Perfect.

But seriously – it’s unfortunate, but we all know someone whose life has been affected by this awful, awful disease. Take a moment this month to buy one of the products featured below, or any product whose profits go to a breast cancer charity, to help those in need.

We’ve scoured the choices and found these 10 items we absolutely love that support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Work It Out
Om on this pretty in pink yoga mat from Gaiam. The mat costs $21.98 and $1 from every sale is donated to breast cancer research.

Stay Dry
Two benefits with this one: You’ll have a fun umbrella from Kohl’s that differs from everyone’s boring black one and 100% of the net profit on this $10 umbrella goes to supporting the fight against breast cancer.

Nail It
Stay strong with this creamy, optimistic pink polish from Essie, aptly called “I am Strong”. The polish costs $8 and Essie has made a charitable contribution to Living Beyond Breast Cancer.

Tasty!
Need a guilt-free sweet treat? Red Envelope’s Deluxe Hand-Dipped Pink Ribbon Berries are a delicious calorie splurge. The strawberries are $34.95 and there is a 10% donation to Komen for the Cure.

Make a Statement
The most recent face of breast cancer, Giuliana Rancic teamed up with LOFT to sell this beautiful statement necklace. The piece is $69.50 and 25% of full-price purchases of the necklace will go directly to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

It Gets Sweeter
Next time you’re in the checkout line and want a sweet treat, pick up Tic Tac’s Strawberry Fields. In exchange for your $1.29, the company will make a one-time lump donation of $100,000 to Cancer Care.

That’s a Wrap
Love Tory Burch? Here’s one piece worth the splurge. The Pink Double Wrap Logo Stud Bracelet is a pricey $95, but every time you stare at that fun patent leather, you can think of the 15% donation the company made to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Tie It
We love Mane Message’s hair ties – especially when the bright beautiful colors in our hair are benefiting a breast cancer-related charity. Snag six hair ties for $9.95 and 20% will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Charming
Obsessed with your Pandora bracelet? You’ll be “charmed” by this pink ribbon one to add to your wrist. A portion of the sales from the $45 piece benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Stunning
Stilla’s Positively Pink set comes with a pretty pressed powder and lip gloss. The set is only $18, keeps you beautiful, and a portion of the sales will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
