Miranda Cosgrove Isn’t Exactly Staying Out of Drake Bell & Josh Peck’s Feud

I’m still recovering from the heartbreaking news that Drake Bell and Josh Peck from Drake & Josh aren’t as good of friends as I thought. In fact, they’re officially OVER since Josh didn’t invite Drake to his wedding. Drake took it hard, calling out Josh on Twitter and saying, “Ties are officially cut.” Josh was apparently hurt by Drake’s words, too. It’s a lot of family drama to handle.

More importantly, I need to know where Miranda Cosgrove stands on this whole feud since she played Drake’s younger sister Megan on the Nickelodeon show.

According to BuzzFeed, a reporter asked Miranda what she thinks of the wedding mishap during an interview for Despicable Me 3. Unfortunately, she didn’t really have much to say and didn’t take sides (how dare she not fan the flames?), but we did get a little hint about where her true loyalties lie.

First the reporter asked if Miranda went to Josh’s wedding. “Um no, I didn’t go.” Hmm, was she also not invited or just chose not to attend? “I’m just happy for Josh. I hope he has a good marriage. It’s crazy to me—so many of my friends that were on Nickelodeon with me are married now!” Is this a subtle dig at Drake to suck it up and be happy for Josh?

So how close are Miranda, Drake and Josh? “I only see them once in a while,” Cosgrove said. “I’m going to Drake’s birthday in a few days.”

Interesting… So she’s going to Drake’s party after Josh excluded him from the most important day of his life. It’s kind of suspicious that she would skip Josh’s wedding but then go to Drake’s birthday party. It’s seeming like she’s on Team Drake. Maybe she’s going to show her support and comfort him after he was left feeling betrayed by his fictional stepbrother. Despite her antics on the show, it looks like Megan didn’t turn out so bad after all.

I was going to suggest a Drake & Josh revival, but it doesn’t seem like that’s happening anytime soon. Maybe Megan will help the boys make up!
