I woke up this morning thinking it would be just another normal Tuesday — until I checked Twitter, and my entire feed was clogged with memes about the Don’t Worry Darling premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
A quick recap of the night’s festivities, if you’re not extremely online like I am: Basically, the Don’t Worry Darling premiere on Sept. 5 was a dumpster fire. For starters, Harry Styles reportedly spat on Chris Pine, although a representative from Pine told PEOPLE that this is a “complete fabrication.” However, I keep flip-flopping on if I truly believe that or not, since there is compelling evidence. Pine also practically slept through the entire press conference and kept “astral projecting,” especially when Styles droned on about how his “favorite thing about the movie is that it feels like a movie.” And while all of this was going down, Florence Pugh showed up late with an Aperol spritz in hand and missed the press conference altogether (oh, and made zero eye contact with Olivia Wilde during the premiere).
