I’m not going to lie, I think about Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s relationship a lot. The couple call themselves twin flames, which is one of the highest levels of connection between two people who are said to be one soul split in two bodies — so you could say they’re pretty serious. At this point, we’ve seen and heard so much from Fox and Kelly, it’s hard to remember a time when they weren’t together, or to imagine that Fox was ever unsure about the relationship. However, in a recent interview with Who What Wear, Fox revealed that she resorted to making a pros and cons list to help decide if she should date Kelly.
Looking at the couple now, it’s so clear that they should be together — Fox also told Who What Wear that she matched her nail polish to Kelly’s neck tattoo, which is the stuff true love is made of — but Fox wasn’t always so sure. While Fox felt an immediate “soul-mate connection” to Kelly, she said her logical brain interjected. Fox didn’t reveal what items made her list, but I can only imagine it went something like this:
Pro — he’ll write songs about me
Con — might party too much
Pro — he’s friends with Pete Davidson
Con — he’s friends with Pete Davidson
Obviously, the pros won out and Fox and Kelly have been in a happy relationship for over a year now. In her interview with Who What Wear, Fox confirmed something most of us already suspected, which is that she and Kelly coordinate their outfits. They have been known to take over the internet each time they walk the red carpet, or even go grocery shopping. I’ve never thought to consider this before, but if Megan Fox and MGK teach us anything, it’s that the best couples elaborately plan their outfits.

Fox and Kelly are no strangers to Instagram declarations of love, but Fox’s Valentine’s Day post for Kelly really caught my eye. In the caption for her sweet collection of photos, Fox concluded by saying “happy valentine’s day rehab barbie” with a red heart — uh, goals?

In case you didn’t know, Megan Fox is an astrology girl. Apparently, early on into their relationship, Fox read Kelly’s birth chart (a map of where all the planets were at the moment of your birth) and even guessed that he was a Pisces moon before she started. The two are both Tauruses, meaning they’re compatible.

We still don’t know why MGK painted his tongue black for the Billboard Music Awards, but Fox was into it. They posed on the red carpet, sticking their tongues out inches from each other. Some questions I have for the couple are: how did the paint stay on? What did it taste like?
Fox’s real pros and cons list was probably something a little deeper than this (and I’m holding onto hope that she’ll share more details about it in a future interview), but these questions are a good starting point if you’re trying to find the MGK to your Megan Fox, your twin flame, or your rehab barbie… whatever that means.
