For one hour only, McDonald’s will offer a FREE side of bacon with anything on the menu. That’s right! On January 29, you can join the Bacon Hour from 4-5 p.m for a delicious and free side order of bacon.
If you’ve ever wanted to try some bacon on your fries, it can now happen. Do you want a little extra bacon on your Big Mac, go for it. And if you even wanted to sprinkle some bacon on top of your McFlurry, here’s your chance. The free side of thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon can be purchased with literally anything.

“When we said there’s no such thing as too much bacon, we weren’t kidding. I love bacon. America loves bacon,” explained McDonald’s Manager of Culinary Innovation, Chef Michael Haracz, about the reason behind the Bacon Hour. “I really can’t wait to see the crazy and daring combinations our customers put together.”
There’s a catch—each person is limited to one free side of bacon. This is only two half pieces of bacon, per person with any order. According to USA Today, prices for a side of bacon will vary by location.
