We all know that feeling of knowing somebody’s secret and having to force ourselves not to spill the beans. Worst. Feeling. Ever. Matt Damon has known that George Clooney and wife Amal are expecting twins for a while and is super relieved that the news is finally out.
“I was working with him last fall and he pulled me aside on set and I mean, I almost started crying,” Damon shared on Entertainment Tonight Canada.
When Clooney told Matt that his wife of nearly three years is pregnant, Amal was only eight weeks along. Damon was the one who apparently advised Clooney to hold off on broadcasting the news, telling him, “Are you out of your mind?! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t you know the 12-week rule?”
Now that the cat is out of the bag, we can all share in Matt’s excitement for the Clooney twins to arrive. I mean, come on! With George and Amal for parents, they are sure to be adorable.
