Maggie Gyllenhaal Knows Absolutely Nothing About Taylor Swift’s Missing Scarf From ‘All Too Well’

Taylor Swift is no stranger to calling out guys who’ve broken her heart—or people who are holding her accessories hostage. Flash back to “All Too Well” from Red. Remember how everyone thought the song was about Taylor’s ex, Jake Gyllenhaal. Though the song is years old, the question still remains: Where the hell is Taylor’s scarf?!

It seems like people keep turning to Jake’s sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal, for the answer, considering she’s mentioned in the lyrics. Taylor sings, “Left my scarf there at your sister’s house / And you’ve still got it in your drawer even now,” which has been following Maggie around for a while now.

On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Tuesday night, Maggie was asked about Tay’s scarf once again, and her  response wasn’t very helpful. “I never understood why everybody asked me about this scarf,” she said. “What is this?” Honestly, Maggie, that’s what we want to know.

The actress went on to say that she literally has no clue what’s going on. “I am in the dark about the scarf. It’s totally possible. I don’t know. I have been asked this before and I’ve been like, what are you talking about?” So we may never know the scarf’s location…unless the Gyllenhaal family starts rummaging through their closets.

As for Jake, he doesn’t seem interested in bringing up his past relationships and has stayed pretty quiet on the issue. When he was  asked about the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer this past spring, he said, “I would love to not talk about my personal life.” Damn, looks like we won’t get any updates from him either.

Hopefully Taylor doesn’t need that scarf anymore. After all, some things are better left in the past.
