LOL, Andy Samberg Returned to ‘Saturday Night Live’ to Help Natalie Portman Kill Another Rap

Flash back to 2006 when actress Natalie Portman made her first appearance on Saturday Night Live. Her “Natalie Raps” skit took off after it revealed a more savage, explicit side of the actress. With cameos from Andy Samberg and Seth Meyers, it was a skit we couldn’t forget.

Fast forward to 2018, where Portman returned to SNL for a “Natalie Raps 2” and it shows she’s still got it.

The actress appeared on the comedy show for the second time as the host and couldn’t leave without following up her first rap video. We even had another cameo from Samberg to give us all the 2006 SNL feels. The video included a lot of recent references to memes, rap songs and her movies, of course. She opened the rap to the tune of Drake’s “Jumpman” saying, “Portman, Portman, Portman, Portman.” She was even seen giving birth and rapping to the tune of Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow.”

Samberg entered the rap trying to introduce Portman to her “son” and asking her to meet him. She replies with, “that little b*tch ain’t mine!” He continues his portion of the rap saying, “It’s been 12 long years,” probably referring to her last rap with him in 2006. The rap ended with her stabbing a “Time’s Up” pin in the head of the host she talks to throughout the rap, Beck Bennett. She says, “How’s that for impact?” before throwing him out the window and saying, “No more questions.” This is probably a reference to her involvement with the movement and a parallel to her original rap where she throws a chair at Chris Parnell and says the same thing.

Natalie Portman, never change.

Abbey is a senior at the University of Wyoming and is currently majoring in Journalism. She couldn't imagine a world without Jesus, coffee, The 1975, Twitter or her family. You'll usually find her at a concert or cafe somewhere, which is where she spends majority of her free-time. Talking to band members after their shows is a hobby, along with thrifting & indulging in all aspects of pop culture. After college, she plans to spend more time at concerts, getting paid to write about music and bands.
