The weather may be cooling down and Fall fashion might seem more appealing than a bikini, but if you’re anything like me, you miss the carefree days of Summer. What’s not to miss? You could sleep in until noon, head on a roadtrip with your friends, and flirt with your Summer crush. There’s no reason for that relaxed style living should be limited to a season, so here are some tips to keep you loving life all year round.
1. Get a tan…and I’m not encouraging you to fake bake (We don’t want you looking like you rolled in Doritos). A spray tan, tanning wipes, or self-tanning lotion will do the trick and keep your skin glowing. Just remember to exfoliate first, do a spot check, and never wear white afterwards (unless you like removing stains from your clothing).Â
2. Make a Summer playlist. Here are a couple of my favorite songs that bring me back to sunny days.

Listening to these in my car instantly makes me think of Summer and be happy.
3. Flirt, with everyone. Please don’t take this the wrong way and go flirting with guys who have girlfriends. Then when you get punched in the face by her, you’ll blame me. Flirt with guys you usually wouldn’t go for, because if you think about it, Summer is the time when you’re meeting new people and shamelessly flirting. It will give you a total confidence boost and hey, you might even get a new friend boy out of it.
4. Have a Christmas in July party…in reverse. Crank the heat up, serve up some pina coladas, use some tropical smelling febreeze and tell your friends to dress in something touristy, put on your Summer playlist and enjoy!
5. RELAX! However you need to do it, whether it’s taking a bath and putting your Pandora on the spa musicÂ
station, going out for a girl’s night, or setting aside 30 minutes to lay in bed and do nothing…relaxing will help your mind-body function and you’ll be more alert in other parts of your life.Â
