Lindsay Lohan Arrested For Hit-And-Run Accident

Lindsay Lohan is back on the police’s radar.

The 26-year-old actress was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident early Wednesday morning after bumping into a pedestrian with her car and fleeing the scene.

Lohan allegedly hit Jose Rodriguez, a 34-year-old Manhattan chef, in her black Porsche Cayenne in an alleyway between the Maritime and Dream Hotels in NYC’s Meatpacking District at around 1 a.m.

After clipping Rodriguez with her SUV, Lohan and her friend got out of the vehicle to check the car for damage. Police said Lohan and her posse then entered the hotel’s nightclub. When Lohan returned to her car at around 2:30 a.m., she was arrested.

Although police say Lohan did not appear drunk at the time, Rodriquez told the Daily News that, “She was slurring. She smelled like alcohol real bad.”

Rodriguez is also claiming a knee injury, and was taken to a nearby hospital after the accident.

Lohan, who has been in and out of jail in recent years, was booked on a misdemeanor charge for leaving the scene of the accident, and has been released without bail.

Ironically enough, Lohan’s arrest comes just a few days after the Mean Girls actress tweeted about the lack of punishment for Amanda Bynes and her recent run-ins with the law.

“Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?” Lohan tweeted.

It looks like LiLo should hold off on handing out judgments.
