Lea Michele Got Bangs Again & Gleeks Are Losing It

Is Rachel Berry making a comeback? On Oct. 18, Lea Michele shared that she got bangs again, posting her iconic Glee look to TikTok. Gleeks will know that Michele rocked bangs for most of Glee as her character Rachel Berry. In the TikTok clip, Michele cleanly transitioned from wet, undone hair to a styled updo with bangs that framed her face perfectly with the caption, “bangs are back 💥.” The TikTok’s background sound was “I Did Something Bad” by none other than Taylor Swift, making me think that maybe Michele is a die-hard Swiftie like the rest of us (because at this point, who isn’t?). Michele’s comment section was full of praise, with fans raving that the “Berry Bangs” are back — which could possibly influence a trend for fans to embrace bangs, too.

The former Glee star has been extra busy lately in New York with her new Broadway endeavor of the musical revival Funny Girl — which also happens to have been her character Rachel’s dream job in Glee. The Broadway show has been a hit with dazzling reviews since Michele’s arrival, thanks to her powerful vocals. Personally, I wonder how she’ll style her bangs for future shows.

Here are some of the best reactions from Gleeks to Michele’s “banging” new bangs.

Maybe Michele’s new yet nostalgic look will inspire other celebs to change up their hairstyles, too! Time will tell.
