In a recent interview with Glamour UK, the magazine’s June cover girl, Kylie Jenner, declares that she identifies as a feminist. “I’m a young woman, for one thing, and I don’t depend on a man or anybody else. I make my own money and start my own businesses, and I feel like I’m an inspiration for a lot of young girls who want to stand on their own,” the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan says proudly.
Jenner—who, along with sister Kendall, was recently listed as one of Time magazine’s most influential teenagers—has made a name for herself as a successful entrepreneur. The 18-year-old continues to make headlines with her super popular Lip Kits, which sell out every time she restocks them.
In the future, Jenner says she’d like to focus less on her social media platforms and public appearances, and more on her entrepreneurial ventures in the beauty world. “By 20, I want to have the whole of my cosmetics line out because that’s my primary focus.”
