Awards season is officially upon us. The Critics Choice Awards on Jan. 4 kicked us off, and the Golden Globes on Jan. 11 will bring the season into full swing. TV and movie fans are tuning in these next few weeks to see who takes home the biggest prizes. One actor has been campaigning the hardest this season: Timothée Chalamet. He’s nominated for a Golden Globe this year, so will Kylie Jenner be at the show with him?
Chalamet’s alternative approach to promoting his new movie, Marty Supreme, has rubbed some fans the wrong way for its in-your-face nature. However, others have praised the new marketing approach as being innovative, and promoting something important: for fans to see the film in theaters. Chalamet’s performance in the film has been endlessly praised by critics and audiences alike, so it wasn’t a big surprise when he was nominated and won Best Actor at the Critics Choice Awards on Jan. 4, with Kylie Jenner seated next to him in the audience.
After kissing Jenner and taking the stage, Chalamet gave his acceptance speech, giving individual shoutouts to his fellow nominees, director Josh Safdie, and, of course, his “partner of three years,” Jenner. So, with Jenner attending the Critics Choice Awards to support Chalamet and frequently being by his side throughout the Marty Supreme press tour (most notably, of course, in their matching orange outfits), fans are wondering whether Jenner will be with Chalamet at this year’s Golden Globes. (Chalamet is nominated for his role in Marty Supreme in the Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy category.)
The answer? MOST LIKELY YES
If history tells us anything, the answer is most likely yes. Jenner has accompanied Chalamet to the last two Golden Globes Awards ceremonies, so it seems likely that she will be there again this year, although nothing has been confirmed.
