When I think back to the first car I have memories riding in, I remember a tape deck and seatbelt that only crossed my lap, not my whole body. Ah, the nineties.
We’ve come a long way. Every time I go in a new car I am legitimately amazed by the features!
Kia in particular wowed me when I checked out their adventure video, Zip&Dash (below!) featured on their Rio Explorer Page for their new car, the Kia Rio.
The video, a competition between two sets of pals on a mission to meet Christina Milian, features the car company’s superb UVO Technology. The video is fun, and showcases a lot of my favorite places in LA — Pink’s Hot Dogs, Rodeo Drive and The Roosevelt Hotel, to name a few. I loved it! Definitely check it out to get a sense of LA and of course the features of Kia’s new car.  And let me know in the comments section what you thought of the vid!
After watching the video for a second time, I was able to really take a good look at the awesome Kia Rio features like a USB jack (great for charging your iPod), Bluetooth (say goodbye to trying to talk on your cell phone while driving) and a rear camera display (which I could definitely use for parallel parking).
I was also able to take a closer look at the challenges to see which one I would have enjoyed the most and which ones I would have struggled with. I definitely wouldn’t be able to count palm trees on Rodeo, because I would be so distracted by the luxury stores that I dream of being able to shop in. I think the challenge on the carousel would have been the most fun, purely because I like riding carousels. But then there’s the hot dogs…yum!!
I thought the idea of the challenge was great. I would have loved to Zip&Dash off to some place like New Orleans (I’ve never been!). Or even do a challenge through Los Angeles to meet a superstar like Lady Gaga! How cool would that be?
I thought the video and challenge were a great way for the Kia Rio to showcase their new features. Do you agree? What features about the Kia Rio do you like best? Weigh in below!
