So, it turns out that Chrissy Teigen and Kim Kardashian’s now-infamous Friday night dinner plans were actually a cover-up for the surprise baby shower Kim threw for Chrissy Friday night — and as you’d expect, the photos and videos from the evening make it look truly *Legend*-ary. (Ha.)

As you may remember, Teigen and her husband John Legend are expecting a baby boy in June, and as such, they celebrated his arrival with friends including Kim, Kanye, Kris Jenner and celeb hairstylist Jen Atkin, to name a few.
As if I wasn’t already bummed enough that I didn’t receive an invite (must’ve gotten lost in the mail?), the hilarious cakes featuring a bunch of different Legend puns are giving me serious FOMO. At one point Kim even caught Chrissy scarfing down one in its entirety, and can you blame her?
Of course, it also sounds as though the evening was not without a bit of controversy in light of Kanye’s recent tweet-storm in support of Trump (who, in comparison, has blocked Teigen on Twitter because she so frequently speaks out against him). While, according to Teigen there was some brief political debate about North Korea, from the looks of it, Kanye and John were able to set aside their differences in belief in order to celebrate Legend #2 for the evening.

“We got love. Agree to disagree,” Kanye tweeted at one point Friday night, indicating that, despite their very public disagreement earlier in the week, it’s all good — at least for now.
