Love Island USA Season 8 has had viewers sitting on their couches most nights of the week, ready to watch the drama and potential love unfold. At the same time, viewers have been tuned into the memes of the season — especially Kenzie doing the splits, which is going viral on social media. ICYMI, Love Island recently pulled one of its most famous twists, Casa Amor, where, halfway through the season, all couples are split into different villas where they live among a group of new, attractive islanders. However, on the first night of this split, the women were by themselves, watching on TV everything the men were doing with the new women in the other villa.
At hearing the men shouting from afar in enjoyment, islanders Kayda and Kenzie, who is a former competitive dancer, decided they’d had enough (and honestly, I would have to) and screamed toward Casa Amor. Surprisingly to viewers — and unsurprisingly to Corbin, who predicted it — Kenzie could not miss this opportunity to jump into a rage-split and twerk while screaming. The moment was instantly meme-able and had fans absolutely losing it over the unhinged — and kind of iconic — coping mechanism.
Love Island viewers have become obsessed with this iconic moment and are even recreating it with their own hilarious spins on it. From now on, any time I’m upset… I’m just gonna pop into a split.

This wasn’t the first time Kenzie hopped into a split, though: in fact, Kenzie has been dropping into the splits constantly throughout the season.
Thankfully for Kenzie’s legs and mental health, a brand new group of men entered the Villa the next day, and she got her steamy moment with a hot new islander. Dylan, who Kenzie has recently had her sights and splits set on (literally), may have finally saved her from the Corbin or Caleb drama, and I am so here for their chemistry.
In Episode 19, the separated couples competed with the new islanders as their partners to “raise the temperature” on the sexiness thermometer the fastest. Kenzie, determined to win against Corbin, once again busts out her famous splits. “I was doing splits on the d*ck, I was doing splits on his head, I was doing backbends … I’ll do anything to f*cking win,” she said in a clip of her speaking during the competition.
Whether you’re a fan of Kenzie or not, her competitive spirit is not only admirable but also fun to watch. And I’ll admit it: her splits are impressive. So, like a lot of fans, you’ll find me in pajamas on my couch for the rest of the season, ready to find out what Love Island has cooked up for us. And maybe stretching a bit, too…
