Kendall Jenner is on the cover of Elle, where she dished to Lana Del Rey all about her 20-year-old sister Kylie’s baby girl Stormi, who was born on February 1. First, she addressed the elephant in the room: “It’s obviously a bit weird that your little sister is having a baby before you.”
She was able to adjust to the transition, though, saying she “didn’t expect it to happen like this, but it’s beautiful.”
As the two youngest Kar-Jenner clan, and the only two daughters of Kris and Caitlyn Jenner, Kendall and Kylie were always together, as evidenced on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The two are super close in age, at only 21 months apart, and that usually makes siblings super competitive. They’ve had some public arguments, including a recent one over their friendship with Hailey Baldwin.
But it appears that Stormi’s birth has done the sisters’ relationship some favors. “We’ve always been very close, but we would butt heads all the time,” Kendall said. “This has made her a bit more loving toward me.”
I’ve talked before about my worries for the well-being of a family constantly in the spotlight, but family is family, and I’m glad Kendall and Kylie are experiencing familiar sisterly bonding experiences.
