After the video of Justin Bieber peeing in a bucket and then grabbing a photo of Bill Clinton, spraying it with cleaning liquid and swearing at him, emerged on TMZ yesterday (reported by Her Campus here), it is now reported that Biebs contacted the former President in order to apologize.
It is clear that the young star is trying to get himself out of a situation that has become quite embarrassing for him. Though, all credit to him if he has apologized to Mr Clinton!
It has been confirmed by USA Today that a conversation between Bieber and Clinton did take place and the two were said to have had a “great conversation”. Not only did Clinton accept the apology, but he is said to have taken the comments “in jest” and that “if that is the worst thing you’ve done, all is well”.
Bieber is said to have explained that some “friends” had sold the video to TMZ, though if this is the case, maybe the young star should be questioning if his friends really are just that. In fact, Bill Clinton is said to have given just that advice to the nineteen year old when he told Justin to “watch” his friends: advice most nineteen year olds could probably do with.
After the conversation took place, Bieber tweeted Mr Clinton: “@billclinton thanks for taking the time to talk Mr. President. Your words meant alot. #greatguy“
Interestingly, there is no word as yet if he has apologized to the restaurant, janitor or kitchen staff; although it seems as though he should. Apologies should not only be given out on the basis of who you offend, but because you offended someone!
In other Bieber related news today, it has been reported by many, including Hollywood Life, that Justin and Selena are once again back together! However, it’s not all sweetness and light just yet as a source claims Selena has given Justin an ultimatum this time: he has to stop “acting like a d-bag”. Shouldn’t be too hard then, should it? Or has this recent video shown just how immature Justin is? It seems as though Selena isn’t impressed by the recent video: is the behavior she was warning him against? What do you think?
