Join StudentUniverse for the World’s Largest Bikini Parade!

It’s Spring Break season, collegiettes! Time to break out that itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini!
If you’re hitting up the beach in Panama City for Spring Break 2012, you can join in on the World’s Largest Bikini Parade being held on Tuesday, March 6. The Bay County Tourist Council (TDC) are joining forces with marketing group StudentUniverse for the Guinness World Records attempt at the World's Largest Bikini Parade.

Last year, 357 women showed up at Surfers Paradise on Australia’s Gold Coast in tiny two-piece bathing suits and pink visors, and took the current record title. This year's record attempt is going to take place in Panama City Beach, Florida, and more than 357 women will need to join in on the parade to break the record. In an interview with the News Herald, Dan Rowe of the TDC said, “It’s a way for the students to come down and participate in a fun activity. It is something that is good clean fun.”
“StudentUniverse will be at Panama City Beach this year and we look forward to some fun events,” said Paul Tedeschi, General Manager of StudentUniverse. “The parade will put the beach on the map and working with the TDC has been great.”
It’s free to participate and there will be tons of free prizes. Show your Panama City Beach pride and help make history! You can register at Harpoon Harry’s beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the parade kicks off at 11:30 a.m. (rain or shine). You can read more event details here. Be there and bring your bikini!
