On Thursday’s episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation (“Sunday Vinday”) Jenni “JWoww” Farley revealed a heartbreaking moment to fellow castmate, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino. She told Mike how she and now-husband Roger Mathews had suffered through a miscarriage before they went off to film the fourth season of the MTV reality series in Florence, Italy in 2011.
“I was a mess in Italy,” JWoww told Mike. “Right before Italy, like three or four weeks before Italy, my grandmother passed. And me and Roger actually lost a baby, like I ended up pregnant. Not a lot of people know.”
She continued, “And they put me on medication because of it, I couldn’t handle life. But the medication, it was like Xanax. It would take me down…it was making me so groggy… Then I started taking uppers with it, segway right into Italy. I was a f**king mess.”
These days JWoww is in a much happier place: Since the heartbreaking incident, she married then-boyfriend Roger in 2015, and the two became proud parents to two beautiful children—3-year-old daughter Meilani Alexandra and 23-month-old son Greyson Valor.
