It’s a Girl and a Boy! Two Celebrity Babies Born this Weekend

Two celebrity couples welcomed their newborn babies into the world this weekend. Kate Hudson welcomed a baby boy on Saturday and the Beckhams welcomed a baby girl on Sunday morning.

It’s a girl!

Victoria and David Beckham welcomed their new baby girl early this morning, according to several pop news media outlets.

The Beckhams have not released the girl’s name, but she weighed in 7 lbs., 10 oz., when she was born 7:55 a.m. Sunday morning at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.

The celebrity pair are the proud parents of three sons: Brooklyn, age 12, Romeo, age 8, and Cruz, age 6. “Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are excited to welcome their new baby sister to the family,” said Beckham spokesperson Jo Milloy to People.

It’s a boy!

Just hours before the Beckhams’ new arrival, it was a boy for Kate Hudson and her fiancĂ©, Muse rocker  Matthew Bellamy.

It was a surprise for the Golden Globe-winning actress, since she was so sure a few months ago that it would be a girl.

“It feels like a girl, but I don’t know. Ryder thinks it’s a girl,” she told People back in January, referring to her 7-year-old son.

Bellamy and Hudson announced that they were expecting in January, after dating for less than a year and being engaged since April.

Seven-year-old Ryder will be big brother to the new arrival; his father is Hudson’s ex-husband Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes.

The celebrity family are expected to spend time together at Bellamy’s London home while he records a new album, one unidentified source told Us Weekly, “She’s crazy about him…Kate and Matt are so adorable together.”
