It’s a Boy: Hilary Duff Welcomes A Son!

It is hard to believe that Lizzie Mcguire’s Hilary Duff is officially a mom! It seems like just yesterday that she was a Disney Channel star, connecting with teenyboppers everywhere through awkward social situations, intense clumsiness, and catchy pop songs.

The actress and her hockey-playing husband, Mike Comrie, welcomed a son into the world this past Tuesday. Duff took to her Twitter today announcing, “Welcome to the world Luca Cruz Comrie! Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy.” She continued by adding, “We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world.”

At only 24 years old, Duff announced in August that she was expecting her first child. She seemed eager and ready to start the next chapter in her life with hubby, Mike Comrie. With the arrival of little Luca, Duff and Comrie can look forward to bright days ahead as a happy family.
