How to Make Halloween Costumes from Alice in Wonderland

Ready to jump down the rabbit hole? Good because we’ve got easy ideas on how to transform into your favorite Alice in Wonderland characters on Halloween this year! You’ll wish you had enough days to try every costume.

Alice in Wonderland
To start off, how do you become Alice? Don’t have blonde hair? That’s okay. Just make sure to wear a light blue dress, ideally with slightly puffy sleeves, and a black headband in your hair. Now, make sure you’re stocked up on white accessories. Wear a plain white apron over the puffy dress and slip into a pair of white tights. Once you get out a pair of black flats, you’re good to go! Feel free to add your own touch with certain pieces of jewelry or headpieces.

Mad Hatter
If you’re eager to look classy, throw on a nice pair of khaki pants, button down plaid shirt and vest. Feel free to add an oversized maroon blazer if you want to channel some Johnny Depp. You aren’t ready to join the tea party without a top hat and a pair of white gloves. Depending on how mad you want your costume to be, you can wear different colored socks, color your hair outrageously with colored hair sprays, and apply a bit too much makeup before going out.

White Rabbit
If you’re known for always being tardy, your friends will appreciate you dressing up as the white rabbit – and maybe yelling out, “I’m late!” sporadically. Dress in gray pants, a yellow shirt and a red blazer. If you can come across one, throw in a purple bow tie. As for accessories, you can’t forget the rabbit ears and keep a pocketwatch dangling from your hip all night.

White Queen

More synonymous with the name, the costume for the White Queen revolves around one color – white. Pick out your favorite white dress that you can deem as the most regal of all. To go all out, get a wig to imitate Anne Hathaway’s hair in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.

Whether you dress up as any of the characters we’ve mentioned or any of the others, we know you’re going to have a fabulous time down the rabbit hole.
