Spoiler alert: Spoilers for Season 8 of Love Island USA ahead. The June 8 episode of Love Island USA delivered one of the season’s biggest twists so far when three new bombshells entered the villa. However, the bombshell entrance wasn’t the only shocking moment of the night. In fact, it was revealed that two of the islanders — Bryce and new bombshell Jen — may have known each other before coming onto the show. But how do Bryce and Jen know each other? I did some digging.
But first, a recap. The episode’s main challenge was a messy slumber-party-themed game that quickly turned into one of the wildest moments of the season: The girls were dressed in white lingerie and blindfolded while the boys were handcuffed to a giant white bed. Each girl was given a different paint color and instructed to crawl across the bed, kissing and touching each boy until they believed they had found their partner. Once they made their choice, they handcuffed themselves to him.
The twist? Two new female bombshells were secretly participating the entire time. Jen, a 23-year-old from Florida, and Sol, a 24-year-old from California, entered the challenge, leaving a trail of red paint as they explored each boy. Unlike the girls, they weren’t blindfolded and were free to interact with every guy in the villa. While the girls remained completely unaware, the bombshells made their way around the bed, leaving the boys covered in red paint.
After the challenge ended, the girls removed their blindfolds and immediately noticed something was off. While they could identify each other’s paint colors, nobody could explain the mysterious red paint covering the boys. That’s when Ariana Madix revealed that two new bombshells had entered the villa.
As Jen and Sol walked out, viewers got another surprise. The third bombshell, 21-year-old Caleb, was also revealed and got to kiss each girl. Bryce leaned over to Trinity, whom he was coupled up with, and whispered, “I know the blonde,” while pointing to Jen. The moment was brief, but it instantly became a moment that is raising speculation among viewers. The show ended before offering any additional details, leaving fans with plenty of questions heading into tonight’s episode.
Now, Bryce didn’t explain how he knew Jen, but fans have some theories. The most popular one, though, is that they’ve possibly worked together in the past, as the two are both models in Los Angeles. However, other fans think the two could be exes — which could definitely stir things up in the villa.
While Bryce has not yet explained how the two know each other or what their relationship might be, this revelation will surely cause drama in Episode 7. With Jen now officially in the villa and Bryce’s connection to her still a mystery, fans are already speculating about what this could mean for existing couples.
