Growing up, many of us looked up to the Disney princesses. With their beautiful tiaras and gowns, who wouldn’t want to experience their lavish lifestyles? Now, thanks to New York-based artist Jonquel Norwood, little girls of all shapes and sizes will be able to relate to these fabulous princesses.
Norwood created curvier versions of some of our favorite Disney princesses as part of her “Magic Has No Size” series. Norwood is a lifestyle and beauty illustrator whose mission is to show beauty isn’t based in size.
In an interview with Bustle, Norwood explained, “The Disney princesses basically embody the American dream, to the 10th power.” She continued, “If you can wish upon a star and you’re a good person, all your dreams will come true.”
