Here’s Our First Look at the ‘That’s So Raven’ Revival

The past few years of TV have been a golden age for revivals of our favorite childhood shows. Never did we think we needed a grown-up look at the Tanner family on Fuller House or wanted to see Cory and Topanga’s kids on Girl Meets World, but we’re certainly not complaining about these epic blasts from the past. The latest childhood fave to get a reboot is Disney Channel’s That’s So Raven, and now we have an official trailer of the revival to see what’s coming our way, Refinery29 reports.

For diehard Raven-Symone fans, the good news is that Raven’s Home, premiering July 21, will definitely have some familiar elements in its storylines. Raven, now a divorced mom, has twins, and her son Booker has discovered that he has her psychic abilities. Of course, Raven just wouldn’t be the same without BFF Chelsea by her side, and Chelsea appears in the trailer with her own son in tow. All that’s missing for the show to be a full-blown reunion is the girls’ friend Eddie and Raven’s brother Cory.

Even though the trailer focuses more on the kids than Raven and Chelsea, we can tell that our favorite psychic is definitely the same old girl at heart. Given the hit or miss aspects of recent revivals (we’re looking at you, Gilmore Girls ending), it’s hard to say if Raven’s Home will still be enjoyable for the original show’s devoted fans. However, no matter how the show plays out, it’s still fair to say that seeing Raven back on our screens will be a much welcomed moment.
