Here’s How You Can Score That $3 Boorito Deal from Chipotle on Halloween

Get ready for a scary good deal. Like, $3 burritos good. That’s right; this Halloween, Chipotle is opening its heart and sharing some of its signature yumminess at a discounted rate. But there’s got to be a catch, right? Technically, yes. But it’s a surprisingly fun and oh-so-worth-it catch.

Leave it to Chipotle to get real about the terrifying additives that most fast food chains are still serving in their food. In fact, there are approximately 3,000 plus “unneces-scary” additives that are used in the fast food you’re sold every day. Thanks to the college that is Chipotle, you can even explore these spooky additions—like carboxymethyl cellulose and propylene glycol, which don’t sound like things we’d ever willingly eat—on Chipotle’s website and learn what other restaurants are using them for.

Better yet, if you show up to Chipotle on Halloween from 5 p.m. to closing time in costume and include one unnecessary “additive” with your getup, you’ll be rewarded with a $3 burrito. Easy and fun! Some of our favorite suggestions are Martian Monroe, a.k.a. Marilyn Monroe gone Martian, Vamp-erina, a vampire/ballerina hybrid, and Captain T-Rex, a dino with pirate proclivities. We cannot wait to see what you come up with, collegiettes.

Check out this shocked “Cheapotle” customer’s reaction to the news that she doesn’t even know what she’s been eating.

Any ideas about what unnecessary thing you’ll be adding to your Halloween costume? After all, you gotta get that $3 boorito!
