There are over two million young people without homes today (that’s one in eight Canadian and American people under 18) and they are facing major obstacles. 35% of homeless young people have traded sex for for food or a place to sleep and 20% have turned to drug dealing as a way to support themselves. Now, thanks to Virgin Mobile and Virgin Unite, you can do something to help.
The Re*Generation “Do Whatever It Takes” is a project that brings together people through donating, volunteering and social networking. You can create your own “whatever” or donate five dollars to another person’s “whatever,” a project that raises money to help homeless youths.
