Sometimes, the Internet makes you think that you’ve seen and read it all. But then sometimes, it provides you with a story that is so wild, you can’t help but laugh. This is one of those.
USA Today reports that Eric M. Stagno, a Massachusets resident, was charged with “indecent exposure, lewdness and disorderly conduct” when he took the “judgment free zone” mantra of his local Planet Fitness a little too far. Upon entering the gym, Stagno stripped down and proceeded to exercise in the buff.
According to Plaistow police Capt. Brett Morgan, “The story we got from witnesses was that the guy walked in, stripped down right there in front, left the clothes and belongings at the front desk, walked back and forth across the gym a couple of times and then settled in over at the yoga mats.”
“I look up and I did a double-take. This guy just walked right by me completely naked.” Witness describes naked man arrested at #PlanetFitness in #Plaistow, NH. “He actually did say, ‘I thought this was a judgment-free zone.’” @boston25 @ 10 and 11. pic.twitter.com/t4NPoJfyhE

The Boston Globe reported Capt. Morgan as saying, “Some of the comments some witnesses gave were that they felt uncomfortable, disgusted, sick, and unsafe. There were more witnesses coming forward than we could take names.”
The publication also reported that while he was found with drug paraphernalia, it was not clear whether or not he was under the influence during the time of his indecent exposure.
The police Captain stated that all Stagno had to say in his defense was, per their slogan, he “thought this was a judgment-free zone.”
