An Open Letter To The Class Of 2021: Cheers To You, Our Future (See You May 14!)

Dear Class of 2021,

To say you’ve been thrown for a loop is an understatement–not only was your junior spring semester nearly obliterated and your summer plans upended, but you’ve now also had a senior year that looks markedly different than you ever could have imagined. Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped you from going after what you want with passion and persistence. We’ve seen you pivoting, innovating, persevering, and chasing your dreams full steam ahead regardless of what has been thrown at you, and now that pinnacle of your college career–graduation–is in sight.

Graduation is not the end; it’s just the beginning, and our future has never looked brighter thanks to all of you, the Class of 2021.

So this spring, we’re toasting to you, our future, by throwing our second annual epic virtual graduation! On Friday May 14, at Graduation 2021: To the Future, you’ll hear from celebrities, CEOs, athletes, actors, politicians, and more alongside members of the Class of 2021 as we celebrate all of you, the next generation of changemakers.

Mark your calendars for Friday, May 14 at 12 PM EST and RSVP here now, plus be sure to share with your friends and family! And if you’d like a chance to address the nationwide Class of 2021 and share a virtual stage with notable speakers and performers from across industries, apply now to be a student speaker or performer at the event! Applications are due March 31.

No matter the resilience you’ve shown this past year, this time has also been incredibly tough in many ways. We are proud to partner on this event for the second year in a row with Active Minds, the leading nonprofit organization impacting young adult mental health with a presence on over 800 campuses nationwide, in recognition of the toll this pandemic has taken on college students’ mental health and May as Mental Health Awareness Month.

She graduated from North Carolina State University and received her masters from Columbia University.
