Glamour magazine just released its Top 10 College Women of the Year, which awards college women who are “truly pushing the world forward,” according to a press release.
This year’s list was released earlier this week, and it’s super impressive! One woman featured on the list, Crystal Valentine, is a 21-year-old student at New York University who is also a three-time NYU Grand Slam champion and the ninth-ranked female slam poet in the world. Another, Suhani Jalota, is an economics and global health major at Duke University who launched the Myna Mahila Foundation as a way to empower poor women living in Mumbai, India. Jalota took home the $20,000 grand prize!
