When you’re Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik, we’re guessing it’s near impossible to not be busy all the time – so it’s not surprising that, according to Gigi, the couple prefers to take a very chilled-out approach to date night.
In an interview with British Vogue, the supermodel told the magazine that her ideal date night with Zayn is a night in, not out.
“When I’m in LA I mostly stay in because it’s my time off and I like being with my boyfriend and doing art and cooking,” she said. “We like late-night movies and we order from this amazing place that does lattes and gingerbread cookies.”
Same girl, same. After all, post-weekday insanity, there’s nothing quite like just staying in and chilling out. Not to mention, privacy during a date night out is probably pretty hard to come by when you’re a supermodel and ex-One Direction member. Though it’s not like Gigi hasn’t tried the whole dinner and a movie thing.
“I’m always like, ‘Babe, let’s go to a movie.’ Then I fall asleep halfway through and he’s like, ‘You’ve seen the first half of every movie out there and you have no idea how any of them end’,” Gigi says.
Fair enough. Celebs! They’re just like us! (Okay, minus the whole Victoria’s Secret model thing.)
