You’ve probably seen the video of Gigi Hadid defending herself against her attacker, Vitalii Sediuk, during Milan Fashion Week. We were horrified then and are even angrier now that Sediuk has spoken out about the incident.
He reportedly told THR, “While I consider Gigi Hadid beautiful, she and her friend Kendall Jenner have nothing to do with high fashion. By doing this, I encourage the fashion industry to put true talents on the runway and Vogue covers instead of well-connected cute girls from Instagram.” We’ve heard these complaints before but that does not make it ok to aggressively attack Gigi, or anyone else for that matter.
This is not the first time Sediuk has harassed unexpecting celebrities. Awful, we know! He is still banned from the U.S. after his attack on Brad Pitt, according to PerezHilton. Thankfully he still can’t cause trouble in America but he clearly still finds ways to disturb celebrities abroad.
We are SO proud of Gigi for defending herself and hope Sediuk finds a better pasttime than harassing people. Otherwise, here’s to more elbows to his face.
