I thought I woke up to a wholesome good morning text. But no, it was actually just Fashion Nova’s chaotic marketing team. I don’t think anyone expected to receive a text like this on a random Wednesday morning, but here we are. The company’s texting behavior is nothing new to subscribers, and Twitter users are already trolling the company for it.
And now that “Fashion Nova” is officially trending in the Business and Finance section of Twitter, the marketing team is doing something right! Many companies have a mobile subscriber list to promote sales, but it’s hard to top the creativity of Fashion Nova. Texts like this will definitely get people talking about the brand one way or another. Even if you’re not a fashion girlie, it might be worth it to subscribe just for the chaos.
This morning Fashion Nova sent a mass text to mobile subscribers which read, “Fashion Nova: Guaranteed To Come Faster Than Yo Man.” It was a jump scare, to say the least.
But the company has never shied away from bold text messages. Back in 2020, they faced backlash after sending out a mass text encouraging subscribers to spend their stimulus checks on new clothes.
In April of last year, the company sent out another unhinged text message that read, “What Do Men & FREE 1-DAY SHIPPING Have In Common? Sometimes They Don’t Last Long!!”
Another text from last year was sent in the midst of the Will Smith and Chris Rock scandal. The text read, “We SLAPPED 40% Off The ENTIRE Site! It’s Time To ROCK New Spring Looks Today Only”.
Obviously, I ran to Twitter for their reactions to this morning’s text, and I wasn’t disappointed. Some users are fed up and ready to unsubscribe, but most are here for the chaotic energy.
