Fashion Math!

Here’s your first lesson in fashion math 101: Mixing is good! Here are some of my favorite runway trends to try out over winter break. This Decemeber will be hot-hot-hot!

1. Colored pants and a trendy loafer. I love the orange-red pant with a leopard loafer. Go simple up top, because you’re wearing two statement pieces on the bottom. Makeup, accessories, and hair should be simple too.
Bonus points: try topping it with a preppy oxford and sweater as seen on the model. (hint: it helps if the oxford is the opposite of the pant on the color wheel, for example, the red pant’s opposite would be a turquoise-y shade).
2. Sequins and fur. So luxe! There’s a lot of ways to do this, because sequins are everywhere: leggings, tanks, purses, etc. Stick to fur on top or in accessories. No one wants to see furry pants (if those even exist).
3. Pleated skirt and stacked wedge boots. I’m obsessed with this look. Words can’t even express how flattering and adorable it is on everyone, plus it makes your legs look miles long. And uh, who doesn’t want that?
