Evernote Revolutionizes The Art Of Taking Notes

I must admit I have a slight obsession with organization, especially when it comes to taking notes. I’m that obnoxious girl in class who writes down everything and I love the way it feels when I cross off a completed task on one of my treasured to-do lists (a little weird, I know). But I also know I’m not the only one who suffers from an intense love of organizing which is why I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to blog about Evernote.

Evernote is a free note taking program I’ve been using for about 3 years now. It’s available on pretty much any computer, smartphone and the Internet. So if I create a note on my computer, I can instantly access it on my phone or through the web version. My favorite part about the application is the ability to organize my notes by creating categories or “tags” as Evernote calls them. I have separate tags for everything, which makes it super easy to find and sort through notes. Evernote also has a search bar, so if I’m studying for a test and want to look up a specific term, all I need to do is type it into the search bar and every note with that term will appear (it can also be filtered according to tags). Another awesome feature is the ability to take snapshots of web pages and import them directly into Evernote (I use this a lot with recipes!).  I really could go on and on about all the things I love about this program. However, at the risk of putting readers to sleep, I will stop and let you check it out for yourself!
