The ‘Frozen 2’ Trailer is Finally Here & Elsa Must Find Out the ‘Truth’ About Her Past

The highly anticipated trailer for “Frozen 2” is finally here, and it looks like Elsa and Anna are packing up and leaving Arendelle to find out the truth about Elsa’s past.

The trailer, which premiered Tuesday, begins similarly to the teaser trailer, with Elsa using her powers to run across an ocean-like body of water, but this time, the ice cracks and she is submerged into the water, Cosmopolitan reports. However, while underneath the crashing waves, she encounters a mysterious underwater horse.

“Elsa, the past is not what it seems,” Grand Pabbie, the wise troll, tells Elsa in the trailer. “You must find the truth.”

He instructs her to go North, into the unknown.

Anna and Kristoff also appear in various scenes in the trailer, along with everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf.

As the gang sets off on their unspecified adventure, Grand Pabbie says, “We have always feared Elsa’s powers were too much for this world.”

“Now we must hope, they are enough,” he adds.

Anna promises that she “won’t let anything happen to her,” but in other scenes we see Anna and Olaf quickly approaching a rapid and clinging to their boat made out of ice, and Elsa is being chased by a gigantic beast.

Yikes!

It definitely looks like the gang is heading out on a rather daunting and scary quest. And based on what we’ve seen of their adventure so far, Grand Pabbie is right — we must hope Elsa’s powers are enough.

Academy Award-winning directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are back for the “Frozen” sequel, and Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad will all be returning to reprise their roles from the original film, ABC News reports.

“Frozen 2” hits theaters on November 22.
