Enter the Jack Wills “Best Summer Job in America” Contest

The UK University Outfitters Jack Wills is searching for the coolest, most outgoing and motivated students to compete in their third annual “Best Summer Job in America” contest!

They’re seeking five students to participate in a 14-week immersion into the Jack Wills lifestyle. For that 14 weeks, those five students will get paid to travel to the hottest playgrounds in the country, host fabulous parties, spend a week in at the Jack Wills headquarters in London, and learn how to market one of America’s fastest growing retail brands!

Jack Wills launched their contest online on February 6th, and they welcome all college students who will be entering their third or fourth year of school as of Autumn 2013 to apply. Students will compete for a three month internship, during which the winners will live in the Jack Wills house, commandeer a pink and blue Jack Wills Land Rover, work at the local Jack Wills retail store, and of course, spend a week at the brand’s HQ in London.

Written applications are due online before February 24th. On February 25th, the top 150 applicants will be asked to create a short video, and from March 18th to 27th, the public will vote for their favorite candidate’s video on Facebook. The top 10 applicants will attend an interview week in New York City from April 12th to 14th, and the five winners will be announced on April 19th!

To kick off their search, Jack Wills is holding an event hosting Jack Wills’ USA Marketing Manager, Jonno Stenning, as well as special guests like fashion editors Adam Mansuroglu and Faye Power from Cosmopolitan Magazine as they discuss internships, dream jobs, and breaking into the worlds of fashion and marketing.

The event will be Tuesday, February 19th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 264 West 40th St, PH in New York.  To RSVP, email guin@lividini.com, and join them for hot cocoa, cupcakes, fun giveaways, and of course, some serious networking!

Good luck, collegiettes!
